We Install Reolink 4K 8-16MP

Security Camera Systems

4KGUARD does not install WIFI security cameras nor do we recommend them because of vulnerabilities like the above article talks about. We only recommend hard wired systems for the best security that cannot be tampered with. If we install a hard wired system at your home and you would like a WIFI camera added to a location that's not a high security concern, we do have WIFI cameras that work beautifully in conjunction with the hard wired systems we install. WIFI cams are good for things like doorbells or watching kids play in a secured area but wired cameras are best where security is a concern.

Reolink Systems Just Work - PERIOD

Its why we install them

There are no subscription fees with a Reolink home security camera system. The system includes a Network Video Recorder (NVR) with its own internal hard drive that can store surveillance footage at your home for up to a year. Let us install a Reolink Home Security Camera System you can rely on to keep your family and property safe. Once installed and set up at your home, using it is just as simple as using a RING camera system but Reolink systems are 10 times better and less expensive overall.

Watch this amazing demo from the Reolink App on a smart phone. The camera is a 4K 8MP security camera from Reolink. It has 360 degree capability with numerous other features and this demonstration was done remotely on a phone from another state while the customer was travelling. Watch how it zooms in on a car tag across the street at night at a distance of approximately 200 feet. Just so you know, a Ring camera cannot do this, yet the Reolink camera being used in this demonstration cost less than $200.

The other videos show a much farther day time zoom. If you need a camera to watch a far away location like a gate in the distance or a garage or shed far from the cameras location, we have a great solution for you that you'll absolutely love.

There are basically 3 types of security cameras

1)  WIFI cameras - which we do not recommend due to a weak signal or intermittent signal loss.

2)  HD 1080p cameras - most WIFI cameras are 1080p resolution.

3)  4K cameras - This is the best security camera you can buy today, but keep in mind the higher the mega pixel, better the resolution. That why we only install cameras that are at least 8-16 MP.

We only install Reolink security cameras that are 4K resolution with 8-16 mega pixel clarity because they are the best bang for your buck. They range in price from $95 to below $300 when on sale. Purpose of the higher mega pixel is so when you blow up an image, its more clear. If you blow up a 1080p resolution image from a wifi camera it will become very blurry. This will leave you with telling the police, "The blurry man" came by and they won't be able to help you.

We know security cameras can be a complex subject but they don't have to be with our help. We only focus on two things for our customers:

If a security camera and system interface is too complex for the average homeowner to use, it becomes a useless solution and a waste of money to install it. We will only install what we value and use ourselves.

The System We Like

Reolink 4K Cameras with 8MP or Higher with Color Night Vision

Reolink 4K 8MP cameras produce astounding video clarity of 3840 x 2160 resolution, which is 4 times the clarity of WIFI 1080p cameras. They're equipped with motion detection which can tell the difference between humans, cars or animals and custom settings allow you to choose which type of motion turns it on and which doesn't.

Save recorded footage for months or up to a year

security camera system

How long will footage be saved?

The best option for a Reolink NVR (network video recorder) has a pre-installed 2-4TB hard drive and will accommodate up to 16 cameras recording in 4K resolution with an astonishing 8-12 mega pixels. For comparison, a ring camera is 1080p resolution which is way below 0 mega pixels and a world away from 4K.

While the system can record 24/7, we do not recommend it because if you need to find a recorded event, you'd have to watch a lot of footage just to locate what you're looking for. With motion only recording, you can locate an event within a couple of minutes or even seconds after it happened.

RULE: The length of time recorded footage can be saved to the NVR will always depend on how many cameras you have, how much motion is happening in view of the cameras and what size the hard drive is. Expansion is always an option.

Free Training

After we install your 4K security camera system in Los Angeles, we will train you to easily use it so you know how to retrieve video and images in case you need them for any reason.
